Flight Experience

Each flight experience is another lesson learned.
All flying experience does not come from aviation courses,
it just happens.
Getting enough flying experience to graduate can come quickly. Every time you go flying, experience adds up.

Student Pilot Life
Campus is located at KEVB – New Smyrna Beach Municipal Airport, but students are not confined here. There’s a LOT for a student pilot to do in Florida and most of it is close enough to the campus to make a day trip. Read more about the campus location of our aviation school.
Epic Flight Academy students form a tight knit community and together they enjoy off-campus outings and group events. We take our students on field trips to get first hand experience in the Florida lifestyle.
A student pilot must really concentrate on the pilot course in which they’re enrolled, because there’s a lot of material to learn and skills to practice.

Lyme Stone Ranch includes an outdoor pool, jacuzzi, a tennis court, basketball court, a twenty-four hour gym, and laundry facilities. Your home will be equipped with a full kitchen and appliances. What is ATPL?
ATPL stands for Airline Transport Pilot License, which we refer to in America as an ATP. It’s the highest level an aircraft pilot can achieve.

Our ATP Flight School
The ATP flight school doesn’t issue the ATPL; that is awarded by EASA or FAA in relation to the type of aircraft you’ll use it to fly. If students graduate from an ATP flight school and gain certification asAirline Transport Pilots without conditions or restrictions, they are permitted to fly the aircraft for which they also hold a type rating. Basically, ATP is a commercial pilot license (CPL) with a type rating that applies to a specific make and model of aircraft.
At our ATP flight School we teach all the courses leading up to and including what you need to know for the ATPL so you don’t have to obtain the highest level pilot license if that’s not your goal. You might instead only want to get your PPL or some other pilot certification.
Read more about various levels of flight training we offer here.
For the ATPL you’ll learn necessary material in preparation for the ATPL exam.
